Antagonist MotivationThe main antagonist in this book is Mr. Ross. He is Ty's dad and the head coach of the Vikings. When he wants more "Height" on the 7th grade basketball team that leaves Danny, the best passer in their grade, off their team. Danny's father suspects that is because when he and Mr. Ross were playing Danny's father was always better. So Mr. Ross is taking it out on Danny. Also he is constantly yelling at his son for doing the wrong things. But did he go too far?

ClimaxI think the climax of the book is on page 198 when Mr. Ross, due to injuries on the Vikings, asks Danny to be on his team and he says no. I think that shows Danny has a lot of courage. I also think it shows he has a lot of faith in his team. He turns down what he wanted be for a while, and stands by his team of "misfits".
